Transformative, a word I use to describe my time spent in Guatemala. In reflecting upon the past three months I can’t help but to be in a state of awe for all the Lord has done. Before T squad stepped foot in Guatemala, Father had prepared the villages we ministered to for hearts and minds wide open to receive his word. He paved the way, and as a result many sons + daughters accepted Christ. I am confident that as my squad and I continue our journey across the world, the Lord has countless more lives to touch. I’d like to give a brief testimony of my own transformation and the transformation that our village of Los Corrales endured throughout our stay in Guatemala.

Month one I was eager for growth, knowing that the Lord was going to reshape my life and waiting in anticipation for it to unravel. As I sought after Father’s truth over my identity I discovered something vital for every son and daughter of the King—freedom in the Lord’s kingdom is not temporary. It is not fleeting. As a victim to depression for the vast majority of my life this concept reshaped all of my paradigms of what actual ‘okayness’ is. I can remember asking myself month one, “am I always going to struggle to be okay? To be happy?” Now in month three I can answer that question with confidence. In rooting myself in truth I am certain that even in my not ‘okayness’, deep down in the depths of my soul I am actually okay because I am rooted in the Father’s word. If at any moment I know what the Holy Spirit is speaking over a situation or what is true of the word, then nothing and nobody can rob me of freedom. So now I rest, unwavering upon a firm foundation that is Abba’s truth. That’s good news my friends.

Day one in Los Corrales my team vision casted for what we were expectant of for the duration of the time we would spend there. We asked the Lord for his vision and we arrived upon the idea that there would be leaders risen up within the village that would be disciples for the location and hopefully lead others to Christ. The last week of ministry my team and I hosted a dinner at the Adventures base for all of the families we had invested in and for the leaders the Lord had risen up. We were not initially promised that we would see the fruit of our prayers or vision we had poured out over the village but God gifted us with a direct turnover. He transformed families in the village of Los Corrales to be disciples of the nations and lives were changed in just three short months.

God is so good, and I say that from the depths of my heart knowing it is truth. He is love unfailing. He is steady. He is faithful through every single situation and circumstance. He is a God not willing to settle but eager for change that will point to His kingdom. He is a good Father. I know that he has countless more unfathomable things in store for the remaining six months that I will be overseas. Please consider financially supporting me so I may become fully funded and continue being an instrument in his divine plan. I am currently $727 from being fully funded and my final deadline is January 15th. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all that have already supported me and for any future support I receive. Blessings to each and every one of you—including those especially who are prayerfully supporting me throughout my journey. You are deeply appreciated.
