In the year 2015 I was blessed to be able to these three amazing countries on missions trips. I remember walking through airports thinking that I was on my way to teach these people about Christ’s love. Little did I know then, that week/months that I spent in those countries would teach me more about life, love and faith than my years of sunday school ever did.
It was through these people and communities that God really began to show me His vision for my life. My least favorite part of this whole process of entering the mission field has always been and still is fundraising. I just feel so awkward asking others for money. I think it stems from my need to be independent and not feel like a burden to others. So this time I’m taking a different mind set, I’m not just fundraising for myself but for the people of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina, that I will meet love, and be loved by on this journey.
