Hello and welcome!

My name is Brooke Bigelow and i’m from Paso Robles, California. Beginning in September of 2019 I will be traveling to Swaziland, Thailand, and Nicaragua for about 3 months each with Adventures in Missions to serve others and spread the word of God, and I could not be more excited!

About 3 years ago I had the opportunity to go on my first missions trip to San Vicente, Mexico and the Lord ignited a fire in me that has burned since. Since then I have returned to Mexico and been blessed enough to serve in Uganda as well. These trips have changed my life and confirmed that this is what I want to keep doing. I want to bless others the way God has blessed me.

At home I participate in local community service and am active at my school. I act in plays and musicals through my high school drama department and am the president of drama club. I am also the vice president of another club on campus, JOOI (Junior Optimists) club. I also assist in leading spirit sections at home sports games. I love adventuring, reading, and doing spontaneous art projects.

I am filled with thousands of different emotions regarding the year to come, but most of all, I am overjoyed. What keeps coming to my mind is Luke 10:2. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” It’s a big world full of suffering and sin, but all I can do is offer myself to the Lord as one of the few. Here I am, Lord. Send me.
