This was my journal from Sep. 2019- Jan. 2020 (before I left). I wrote sermon notes, knowledge and revelations from devotional, and prayers in here. As I am looking back for knowledge for a project, I found lots of old prayers and praises. I found prayers I had about God changing me, the people’s lives around, and people I had never met. I prayed for God to start healing me as I grieve my mother’s death, to help my friends’ heartbreaking situations, and heal people of terminal (and not terminal) cancer…
AND HE DID!!! He answered sooo many prayers. None of this was my work – I am not boasting in myself but in my Papá. He didn’t always answer my prayers how I wanted Him to- and some prayers I continue to pray…
BUT Hes cured terminal cancer in my friends mentor, He gave me all I asked for (when I asked for more of Him and asked with my whole heart Add ref), and He has changed the life of people around me. GOD IS GOOD! HE IS MOVING AND WORKING LOTS OF MIRACLES TO THIS DAY! Rejoice in all He has done for us!
So this is what I encourage you to do if you don’t already-
keep a journal and write your prayers out (whether it’s in bullet points of what you pray to God about or your full prayers). Because it’s so easy to see He’s a God of miracles when we do this! I encourage you to rely on the God of milagros (miracles) and know He is always working for He loves us so so so much. He is our Papá and desires the best for us (which is being in relationship with Him)
All is good here in Ometepe- I have felt fully blessed and at home (because my home is wherever God calls me to be). Ministry looks different each day- from chopping trees with machetes and construction, to sweeping and mopping, to evangelizing in town, to loving some special children, to serving my squad members (by being their shoulder to cry on and their friend to tell jokes to and give each other wisdom.)
I am very blessed, filled with joy and learning into God throughout it all.
¡Dios está aquí!
