I am entering my senior year of high school at Denver Christian High School and am actually graduating early in order to go on this trip. My absolute favorite subject in school is Spanish. I love learning this language and experiencing the culture because it connects me to more people around the world!
I go to Connections Church and serve in the Children’s Ministry and Worship team on Sundays.
I am in love with Colorado and all the natural beauty it holds. I am always hiking in the mountains. I love to go paddle boarding and swimming in the summer and cross country skiing and snowboarding in the winter. I see God’s hand every time I go outside as He paints jaw-dropping sunrises and sunsets over the mountains.
I love to travel and experience new cultures. Meeting God’s people from all around the world fills me with so much joy. I have been on two short term mission trips before this; I served in Lima, Peru in 2017 and Jarabacoa in the Dominican Republic this past February. I am so excited to do a longer mission trip in Guatemala and Nicaragua and see what God has in store!
