John 15:7 ‘If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you.’
- it is very hard to travel every couple of weeks: physically, emotionally, spiritually
- we often have spiritual attacks
- because he just needs it (request by Austin)
- it is hard for family members to have limited communication with their loved ones
- it is difficult for people to give their hard earned money to someone else
- these people go through hard times as well (like anyone else)
- right now I have two family members who have cancer and one church friend
James 5:15-16 ‘And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.’
- it is difficult to lead people as is, think about what it would be like to lead people who speak your 2nd or 3rd language
- they put a lot of time and energy to devote their lives to people on the field
- they encourage us while they also need encouragement
John 16:24 ‘Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will recieve, and your joy will be complete.’
