We have been in Australia for three weeks now. The ministry my team is involved with has many business parts. We were lucky enough to make it out to the farm on oct 20th for an outting… No work required.

We arrived to the farm around 9 am.

As we were looking at the pigs and the scenery a momma pig got loose! We had to corner the pig back in to it's cage. It was quite historical because everyone was all serous and brave until the pig made a loud noise and bolted toward us. After a couple minutes we regrouped and got the pig back in its cage.

Pastor Merv then asked if we could catch another pig. This pig had just got into a fight and hurt its ankle so we needed to get her to a safe place. This time our problem was that he pig went into the mud/poop infested water and just sat there. She eventually came out and we were able to lead her into the cage.

Merv and Ken got out the four wheeler and three wheeler for us to ride during tea time.

When Ashley and I were out on the four wheeler we caught up with Alex and rode down the back side of the gate. Ashley and I decided to turn around and head back but we didn't see Alex so we didn't tell him. Alex came back looking for us. When he saw us he sped up to try and catch up. Ashley and I had made it back and got some tea when we saw Alex waking in. He had a HUGE bruise on his neck. He told us that when he came to catch up with us, he didn't see the gate till it was too late. He laid back on the three wheeler to lessen the impact but the wire scraped up his neck and hit his lip. Luckily he wasn't badly injured and was able to drive himself back to us.

After tea time Merv took us out to the outback! We saw lots of kangaroos and wallabies! He even took us to an Aboriginal cave! We saw cave paintings and the kitchen; which was just a rock. We climbed all over the rocks and saw a nice scenic view of the land. We then headed to the national forrest by crossing over some pretty steep ledges to cross rivers and then threw a bumpy bumpy grassland (ended up getting nice bruises from banging the back of the truck so many times so hard). At the national park we went to the river to see crocodiles but sadly we didn't see any.

We then headed back for lunch around 1:30ish and then left to get soda, ice cream, and to see crocodiles at a local bar.

It was a very long fun filled, bruise brewin, sun burnin kinda day!
