SPOKEN into place, so I shall… LIVE SENT. Sounds like a t-shirt slogan doesn’t it? Stay tuned 
. Live Sent Isaiah 6:8. If you had to recall one of the most defining moments in your life and retell it through a photograph, what would it look like? In mine, you would see the pages of a passport turning against the backdrop of the world…and it would carry the laughter of children, with lyrics in every language. You would simultaneously breathe in the scent of poverty and new life. Exotic flowers and eclectic people. Like a hologram, you would gaze at this photograph and see a hand reaching out into the muck and mire of life in all kinds of soil. On the index finger of her right hand would be a ring inscribed with the words ON MAP ON MISSION 11/18/07. Peering in from another direction you would see an eye. And upon looking into it, people would appear from every tribe and tongue. Choosing to close yours, you would learn their stores. Then staring directly at the photograph, you would receive a message for your heart: “SO IS MY WORD THAT GOES OUT FROM MY MOUTH: IT WILL NOT RETURN TO ME EMPTY, BUT WILL ACCOMPLISH WHAT I DESIRE AND ACHIEVE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH I SENT IT.” Blink, and a new message would appear: “Tag! You’re IT!” …and once again Isaiah 55:11 only this time your name would be inserted, accompanied by all the necessary pronouns… enveloped by relentless pursuit. Well loved, you are.
You’re not the exception ya know. You’re called to live sent. Unlike the game of Tag, where your purpose is to run in the opposite direction, you are instead tagged FOR LIFE. While digging into His word one day, He showed me in a love letter, that He included me for a purpose. So I strive to stay in my lane, uniquely made for me…knowing that whatever He wills, will come to pass. I’m just a proud IT, unworthy yet honored to unwrap what each day holds. I don’t have it all together…so unswervingly I hold. “On to what?” you may ask. The Promiser…and the weighty life-giving truths of Hebrews 10:23. He who promised IS faithful. His purpose in sending me, will not turn up empty.
Believe it or not this is a post written in ask for support…however, I wanted to invite you into the MORE He has for YOU…so I did. I invited you to step into my shoes for just one moment…because as a writer, each word I write is twice lived.
What is World Race? It’s an invitation to leave your comfort zone, and set out to discover what God is doing on another soil. An invitation to redefine community and honor our relational God, by stooping, pausing, witnessing miracles, and becoming vulnerable to radical change from the inside out. Living each day noticing, I am confident this will be the closest I will ever come to living out Acts 2.
Where will I go? My route as it stands…unless God calls me elsewhere: India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Botswana, Swaziland, South Africa, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica.
How can you partner with me spiritually? YOU can pray. For me you can pray, “NO ILLNESS, INJURY OR FUNDRAISING DISTRACTIONS.” But first and foremost, you can pray, “Your will be done.” I am challenging ANYONE to set their phone alarms daily to 11:18am and pray for my team at the sight of the two numbers that have defined my life…Tag! You’re IT!

$150 Deposit – Due 9/9/2014 (2 weeks after your acceptance date.)
$3,500 – Due 2 weeks before Training Camp (Date to be determined)
$7,500 – Due 6/23/2015 (2 weeks prior to your trip)
$11,000 – Due 10/7/2015 (End of 3 months on the field)
$15,500.00 + $766.10 (*Insurance) = $16,266.10 – Total Due 1/7/2016 (End of 6 months on the field)
When it comes to fundraising, I live for the stories, and the favor He shows over your “YES,” because I don’t want to be on the World Race one more day than He wants me there. It’s that simple. Tag! You’re IT!
