Wow where the heck is time even going?? Y’all, month 5 is gone just like that and our first country in Africa is already over!

This month my team, team agape, did a lot of door to door evangelizing and preaching in schools.

We lived with a pastor and his wife and 3 boys. Spencer, little Dave and “puss”, our brothers for the month.

Every night we were eating home cooked food, had a couch to watch some tv and a kitchen to cook our meals on. It was cozy and felt homie. This point in the race, let’s just be real about 80% of us are home sick or at least miss home a little bit. So it was nice to have that family feel and be taken such good care of.

One thing I learned this month. My gifts. Preaching and praying. I love them both and can’t wait to see where God takes me on this new journey with using these gifts he’s given me.

I’m not going to lie, I like Africa a lot more then Asia but don’t tell anyone! It’s always fun getting to a new country and learning new culture. You’re constantly in readjusting mode.

Our squad leaders leave this weekend back to America so we are at our mini debrief getting ready to send them off.

In two weeks we will be officially HALF WAY DONE!!! I can’t, I can’t even wrap my brain around it.

Zambia month 6 here we come!

Prayer requests: I still don’t find myself enjoying the race most days but I’m determined to not quit and make it to the finish line. Prayers for joy. Also prayers for or new raised up squad leads! They are already killing it but could always use prayer for their season they are getting ready to step into as our alumni go back home. And last but not least funds! I am $2,048 away from being fully funded.

Make sure to subscribe to my blog if you haven’t already to keep up with my journey and if you feel led to give, there is a donate button up top.

Thank you all so much for reading, God bless!
