Cambodia – One of the seven wonders of the world is Angkor Wat. M Squad got to check it off the bucket list.

Thailand – The King passed away during travel on our way to Thailand. We had to wear black almost the whole month to show respect during mourning.

Malaysia – The patrosnas twin towers are the tallest towers in the world (thanks river dancers for helping me cross that off my bucket list)

Philippines – Our whole squad participated in traditional dances in front of 200 people

Zimbabwe – We had a mini debrief at Victoria Falls which is another one of the seven wonders of the world.

Zambia – Bus companies can’t drive past 9 pm. We camped out on the “roach coach” until 5 am because of this rule.

Malawi – One of the funeral rituals Malawi people have is to dress up in animal costumes because they think they are some sort of spirit. I don’t remember all the details but we attended a funeral once and saw some dressed up, it was quite interesting.

Ukraine – It snowed one day for about 10 minutes. That was our coldest month, we all had to go to the thrift store to get winter clothes.

Romania – Dracula’s castle is located in the hills of Romania and we were able to visit the Hollywood Dracula castle while we were there.

Albania – Albania has something called a “lottery” that allows Albanians to win a chance to America to make a better life for them selves.

Spain – We are hiking 130 miles in 10 days on the El Camino de Santiago trail!
