In about 15 hours I will be meeting my squad for the first time.

In 15 hours I will be loaded down with my clothes, bed, home and closet…for a week.

In 15 hours I am expecting God to show up and wreck my world.

In 15 hours I will begin the journey of Training Camp!

So what does one do in preparation for Training Camp? Well, unpack and repack for one. Wait for clothes to wash, chat with squad mates who are journeying,  maybe even paint finger and toe nails squad colors (Green. Go J-squad!)

But really and truly my mind has not really registered that tomorrow afternoon the moment I’ve been waiting for, well one of them,  will be here. The one I’ve been reading about for the past two years and wondering if it was where God wanted me is here! God has taken me on quite a journey of trust, rest, and learning. I cannot wait to see what He has in store for this week!

Am I nervous? A little. But I know that my Jesus is the author of this very moment and the next, and He never has to erase!

Remember:

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus name.

Through Christ,

Brooke
