I can’t believe this has actually happened! Here I am at 1am sitting in the Atlanta airport surrounded by packs and Racers. Half my squad is sleeping and the others are just hanging out. We are all here for one purpose. To take the Kingdom of God to the world!

At launch (which is actually more training) we were challenged to accept the pain we would encounter. Actually not just accept it but embrace it. One of the suggestions was to give up something for this month. The main challenge was going screenless.

I have chosen to accept and embrace this challenge this month. I’m sure it’s going to be hard not contacting home and posting blogs about amazing things that will happen (or hard ones). That’s just part of it.

I really want this month to be completely about focusing on God, diving into my team and community, and doing the ministry God places before us. God has amazing things for this month, and I want every bit of what He has without distractions!!

So this is my last post this month (except maybe halfway so everyone knows I’m still alive).

Atlanta airport tonight; Haiti tomorrow!

Let the Race begin!

Through Christ,
Brooke
