It’s funny how signing up for the World Race changes things and intertwines your life with the lives of others.
Over the past few weeks my squad mates and I have been getting to know each other through Facebook. This is only the start; the place where we have just met and are (hopefully) becoming friends. New friends that will eventually become a new family. I look forward to getting to really know all these guys and gals over the next year and a half! Already God has given me a fondness for each of them, and as they have shared mountains and valleys I have felt my heart go out to them and lift them up and to rejoice with them. Maybe it seems a little soon, but I think not, for we are already family through Christ Jesus and as my brothers and sisters in Him I do love my squad mates!
