Recently some children I babysit accepted the “Cold Water Challenge”; their charity of choice was my Race. I truly was brought to tears as I read the post and watched their video. It’s not just the one event, although that what be enough. It has been the constant support, love, and encouragement from them and their parents. It has been the faith they’ve had that God will help me. It is the excitement from them about this trip. It is so much that I cannot put into words. This from three children under 12 years old! Their faith and trust inspire and humble me. I want to be like them when I grow up!
Honestly I have been encouraged by so many, and I treasure each of them, yet these are some of the most precious to me.
“Father, teach me to have the faith, love, and heart of a child.”
