Tonight we were discussing our goals for this month with our ministry contact, Pastor Ghenti, and what were some things he needed or wanted help with. One thing he expressed was a need for Bibles for his church in Chichewa, the native language of Malawi. Very few people here own Bibles. We saw evidence of that today as there were maybe three or four Bibles in a church of about twenty adults, not counting youth. And that is only in the church we were in.

There are four branches with a total of nine churches amongst them.

It is hard to think that these people who are so passionate about following God don’t have their own Bible to read and study while I have at least three Bibles at home besides the one I’m carrying with me.

The Fellowship came together even before we were done meeting with Pastor Ghent all on board with the idea of being a part of getting Bibles to the people of Bethel Chapel Mission.
I’m really excited about this opportunity! This is something I can help with! This is something you can be a part of too.

Pastor Ghenti needs about 150 Bibles for his church members, but his ideal number is somewhere around 1000 to 2000 so they can be given to people in the community or new members.
We, as a team, would like to be a small help in that goal. Our personal goal is to be able to get at least 500 Bibles in two weeks. Can you help us? Will you help us?

The cost of a Bible here is about ten dollars. If each person who reads this were to give that much or even half that would put us at least halfway to if not over our goal.

Please pray about this before going into it and make sure it is something God is asking of you. If so you can follow this link, http://www.gofundme.com/k46epg , to make a donation.

Thank you so much!
Through Christ,
