You do things that might be abnormal at home or completely normal but with a WR twist like:

Wash youf contact’s Mastiff at midnight so he can sleep inside. (Haiti)

Clean the church whilst jamming to Taylor Swift ‘s newest album. (Peru)

Eat homemade stovetop biscuits and sausage gravy made by amazing teammates. (Peru)

Participate in a peace march around the city and sing at the rally on stage. (Peru)

Play with your food the day before you eat it. (Peru)

You almost make it to the top of a long mountain, but end up dropping your phone in a well, jumping in after it, and slicing your foot. (Not me, Peru)

You go out for ice cream with a teammate and meet traveling musicians that play the digereedoo in the midde of the ice cream shop. (Peru)

You fix yourself a cup of coffee because you are so desperate to stay awake during church, and actually enjoy it!? Something’s happening 😮 (Peru)

Stumble upon a Labonese restaurant while trying to find a Greek restaurant. At said restaurant you order Labonese food in Spanish and pay with USD all while in Ecuador. (Enough culture?)

You and your teammate decide to find a church by following the music you can hear from your hostel. (Guayaquil, Ecuador)

You meet new possible contacts and don’t want to leave even though only known them for maybe two days. God is so good! (Cuenca, Ecuador)

You learn that ministry sometimes looks like touring your hosts’ city and taking time to enjoy it, because they love their city and want to share it with you. (Cuenca, Ecuador)

You meet an old friend from middle school in the jungles of Ecuador. (Shell, Ecuador)

English Church ends up being in Spanish because that’s how God led the speaker that morning. (Quito, Ecuador)

So this actually posted prematurely, but since it’s up now enjoy a few of the fun things that have happened so far on my Race. Be watching for more too.
