Month Six….. USA?
It’s been an amazing journey, we have traveled through five different countries in five months, we have fallen in love with people and places, we have prayed for people and served in really awesome ministries. Month six is here and I was supposed to be in Nepal with my team but something happen… I need a visa to enter South Africa, What does that mean? That means that I needed to come back to the USA to get it.
So let me tell you what God did. Four moths ago I needed a visa to enter Moldova, it was difficult but I got it. After several calls and many emails my friends and I traveled from Albania to Bulgaria to get it and then we traveled back. So I knew that getting a visa for South Africa was going to be difficult as well but I didn’t imagine that I needed it comeback home to get it.
God has been working in our lives. Brooke and I have seen things that in our eyes are impossible but in God’s eyes everything is possible. I think that all of us have heard that but to experience it it’s just amazing. So I tried to apply for the visa in different countries but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get it. They told me that I needed it to apply in the USA. We decided to pray and put that in God’s hands. A couple weeks later we talked to this amazing couple who told us that they will raise the money in order for me to come back home and apply for the visa. God was opening the door again like He always does. The only down is that I was going to miss part of the race in Nepal.
It’s been a week since I’ve been back, and I’m still waiting on my visa, it’s going to take about 5 to 10 days, I’m constantly checking on my friends blogs and facebook statuses to see how God is using them in Nepal and I can’t wait to go back and be with them.
God is always taking care of us and He knows our needs, He opened the door for me to come here and apply for my visa so I can go to South Africa but guess what? In order for Brooke and I to go to South Africa we need to be fully funded by the end of December. I know that God has a purpose… he brought me here so I can get the visa… so that means that I’m going to South Africa… So that means that some how we are going to be able to raise $9000 dollars!!! Crazy! I know but it’s not the first time that happened.
