If you think about it, that's exactly what it is, right? Except our job is to know Him and make Him known. Another term that comes to mind is a Christian Hippie. I like that! Spreading His love and Eternal peace, roaming, living out of our packs, and talking to anyone that will listen kind of thing. We'll live in a pack of other Christian Hippies, sing in guitar laced circles, and experience raw community.
I was born in the 80s but often think of what would have happened if I were born in the 60s & 70s. I'd be on the front lines, fighting injustice, living on the land, and so forth. But God in His awesome plan, saw that I was born at His exact time, went through the perfectly designed trials, experienced grrrrrrreat mountains, great valleys and put me in front of a random girl,at a random party, so that I could be here….on purpose.
I'm getting ready to live out my Christian Hippie Dreams (except for softball size spiders, did I read that correctly?!) and bring Him maximum glory for the advancement of His kingdom. I'll war with spiritual warfare, live on the frontline while proclaiming the Name of Christ.
I still get goose bumps thinking about it 🙂 I know that this will be challenging and pretty sure it will be no walk in the park. I'll probably get broken and pieced back together a couple of times but it will be well worth it and I'm ready. Leggo!
