As the one week countdown begins, I wanted to answers the most common questions I get asked for those of you following and supporting me!
X Squad's Route: Romania, Ukraine, India, Nepal, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Phillippines
The route can change but we are planning on being i each country for a month at a time.
There are about 45 amazing people on my squad travelling country to country with me and we were split into teams of about 7 who we will be living and serving with constantly througout each country and site.
My team is 6 other lovely ladies and we are Team SOZO (healer in Greek). Look them up if you would like to know my family for the next year: Kaitlyn Wood, Savannah Rowland, Olivia Haughey, Stephanie Chan, Brianna Bolinger, and Kayla honaker
In each country, we will be an ongoing ministry and assist them in any way they need, doing work with orphanages, sex trafficking, teaching, preaching, etc.
Housing may be out tents or hammocks, host homes, hostels, or even hotels at times. We will get an allowance of sorts each month for all of our needs, food, etc. and learn too budget in new cultures.
I will be able to communicate with friends and family at home through Skype (brooke_blackburn), email ([email protected]), and facebook. This blog will be the primary resource to hear updates from the field or the world race website (www.theworldrace.org). Please leave comments below blogs or drop me an email with questions!
