My Feet Have Found The Promise Land.

Completely satisfied, I lay here. Covered in a blanket of his love, listening to His songs of delight over me. I can’t hold back the laughter escaping from my lips.

I soak in the beautiful weight of hearing him call my name.

I hear him calling me daughter.

My dreams run wild, my heart dancing in his freedom. I can feel his heartbeat. His chest breathing in and out. Is there   anything in you that doesn’t burst with love for me? I ponder the vast depth of your affection.

This week is filled with goodbyes. Tears and hurt flood my weary soul. The bitter sweetness of leaving home, for home. Leaving. Saying goodbye to the many hearts that have helped shape my life to be more like my father. The one’s who helped me find my own song. The many late nights spent, tables shared, and life poured out.

Miles traveled, feet covered in red clay. Lake water splashed, and souls awakened.

My heart is flooded with peace. My beloved never leaves me. He whispers to me promises of joy to be found in coming seasons. Big, open arms waiting for me nine hundred miles north. New songs to be birthed, and old friendships to be rekindled.

I fight from victory, and this is a battle that is already won. A closing of a season well lived. How thankful am I to have such a skillful author, beautifully penning this story of my life.

I’ve tasted heaven. I’ve been ruined for this life, and I’m not ever going back. Never going back to emptiness, and never again living a day without purpose. Never forgetting the power, and glory within me. Never losing this eternal Kingdom way of life.

My feet have found the promise land.

I go from glory to glory.
