“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” -Esther 4:14

Royal sons and daughters are people of great destiny.

Princes and Princesses know that they are born, destined for greatness. They are raised to see the bigger picture of the Kingdom. They learn, at a early age that their decisions and life choices will effect others lives, in one way or another. Indirectly, or directly.

They spend their lives dedicated to learning the ways of the Kingdom. They are taught how to live in the castle. They know that they can approach the throne, with boldness. Because, after all, the King is their father. They sit at his feet, and observe. They learn of his ways, and the skill of his leadership.

Royal sons and daughters know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they are made for more.

Sometimes, they must armor up, and fight as warriors. They lead others directly into the heat of the battle. They know that they must enter the war zone to defeat the enemy. They count the cost, and push through anyways. They know that there is more at stake then just their own mere lives. They are willing to lay down their lives for others. For the sake of the Kingdom.

They know that they have a unique place in the Kingdom, that is theirs, and theirs alone.

They seek their father, the King, to learn of their unique calling upon their life. They dedicate themselves to excellence. They hone in their skills, and abilities. They work to make themselves the very best version on themselves they can be. Because they know their time is coming.

They are taught to look beyond themselves, to the needs of others. They must consistently die to themselves. They know their fathers heart. They know of his will for his people, and work tirelessly to see his plans through.

They know they have a voice, and they use it for the better of the kingdom.

They speak on behalf of the voiceless. They bend down to the hopeless, and lift them up. They feed the poor and needy, and clothe the naked. Because that is their fathers heart.

Royal sons and daughters seek out their brothers and sisters, and bring them into the Kingdom.

They bring them home, into the arms of their father.

No matter the cost.

For that, dear ones, is our destiny.
