Africa
is one of those places you got to and it’s beautiful and the people
are wonderful and
God is moving here. It’s also a place where you
see hunger and poverty like no where else I have been. This past
weekend we got a chance to hang out with the street kids of Bungoma.
We set up a time to got o the church and talk with them and feed them
and give them soap. While this is only meeting the immediate needs
of the boys it was a fun day to get to know them.
We
talked with them about God and about getting off the streets and
going to school or
working. The hard thing is usually the older ones
can’t get into an orphanage and they have been on the streets for a
long time so they are usually addicted to glue, which helps with the
hunger pains, so who am I to say that they shouldn’t do it. Also
they have made a family with the other kids on the streets so it’s
very hard to take them out and give them a new life.

While
they look tough they are just kids between the ages of 7 and 20
years old. Right now
there is very little set up to help the boys so
please join me in prayer for them. That they will have a good life,
that they come to see Jesus in the midst of a hard life. And in
prayer that the people in the town will have a huge heart for these
kids and want to take steps to help them.
