It’s now down to 4 days. I
can hardly believe that I am leaving so soon.
The
hardest thing, which I am sure is true for all the world racers, is
saying goodbye to friends and family. No matter how sure I am that
this is God’s will for me I am still very sad to leave everything and everyone I know. I have always lived in Alabama and I have friends
here who I’ve known since 6th
grade. I am leaving a job I love and have worked very hard at to
build a client base and an amazing family who is sooo supportive of
everything I do and 3 nephews and a niece. Again while I know this
is what I am supposed to do it does not change the fact that I am
going to miss them like crazy.
I know
that God wants to work through each one of us as long as we let Him.
And thankfully He gives us all different desires. We are all called
to the same mission which is to follow Him and to go out
and make disciples. The
difference is where He calls us. I am incredibly humbled to be
called to this mission and I know God is going to work in amazing
ways through it all. I want to encourage you that where ever you are
in life God wants to use you to go out and make disciples. I am sure
there is someone you know, someone right next to you who needs to
know that Jesus died for them and that they are loved NO MATTER WHAT!
Someone
at our world race training camp said that it is not us who puts God
in a box, He’s God He can’t be put in a box, we put ourselves in a
box with all the things that are comfortable for us. I don’t believe
that God is in the comfortable, He is always pushing us outside of
our comfort zone. He wants us to share our lives and most
importantly share about HIS life. One thing I know for sure is that sharing is
not usually very comfortable for me but that is what I am called to do as a Christian.
I can’t wait to tell you all
the ways He has blown my box wide open.

YOU to all of you who have supported me in so many ways. In prayer,
sharing wisdom, showing me love and financially. I am almost to my
goal which is one way God has already shown me how small my box is.
