This morning we went on home visits.  The guys were at the Compassion Center shooting a video for them, hopefully soon to come.  So just the girls went out with our contacts.  The first house we visited was a lady and her two children.  She used to be Roman Catholic and now she is married to a Muslim.  However right now she says she prays to God but has never given her life to Him.  She also said she would like to go to church but didn’t know how her husband would feel about that.  The same for her son and daughter, they both know who Jesus is but have never given their life to him.  We told them about the sacrifice God made by sending His son to die for us and explained that salvation is a free gift which we only need to accept.  More often than not people believe they need to work for their salvation, not that it’s a free gift.  After we sat and spoke with her a while she and her two children ended up accepting Christ, thank you Jesus, and promised to come to church.
I pray for them that there is no division in their family, even that because of the example their lives will be now that the husband will notice and want that for himself.
That night I spoke at a church meeting and her daughter showed up.  That just made me so happy.  God is already doing so much here and we are just blessed to be a part of it.
