We have had such an amazing time here in Thailand. I can’t believe it is almost time to go to Africa already. This year has flown by so far.
One of the girls here on team Radiance said at the beginning of the month how she felt a “spiritual heaviness” here. At the time I didn’t really feel it. We are in a village living with Christians and playing with the kids here so I just didn’t get that feeling but now as it’s coming to an end I have started to really feel it. It’s weird because it started when we went to Cambodia for a little “family vacation” with all the girls. There is a place there called Ankgorwat which is one of the 7 man made wonders of the world. It’s an amazing place. The history there and the architecture is just amazing!! I love that we got an opportunity to go see it.
While we were there we were walking around looking at all the temples and getting to ride on a tuk-tuk to get to each one. It really was a great day. Then we get to one area where there is a huge Buddha and there was a lady sitting up by it handing out incense to those coming by to worship. And that’s where it hit me, this heaviness that is just now starting to lift. I just sat there and thought of all the people there who worship Buddha and know nothing about Jesus. Some of the people we talked to didn’t even know His name. I’m thinking how is this possible. We are so used to hearing about Him, it’s hard to imagine people who have never even heard the name. So I just started praying. Praying for her , praying for the town and for the country. They need Jesus so much there in Cambodia and here in Thailand. Please join me in prayer for these countries and the people here.
