Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this letter finds you well. My prayer for you is after reading my letter you can know my heart on a deeper level. As most of you know, I have a huge calling on my life for the children. I have spent the last 3 years serving my Jesus in some way with the children, whether it was babysitting at home, doing Sunday school, learning Bible verses with them, preparing a Bible story for them, or simply just loving on them and showing them the love of Jesus. I have simply fallen in love with serving my Jesus. That being said sometimes the Lord prepares us for something so much bigger than we can even imagine. Over the last few weeks, through divine appointments, prayer, and open doors, the Lord has clearly shown me what I am called to next! This calling is extremely out of my COMFORT zone! I know I cannot do this on my own, only by the power of Christ in and through me. I am very excited to share with you this incredible opportunity that the Lord has set in front of me!
I was excited when I found out about an opportunity to join Adventures In Missions (AIM) on The World Race. The World Race is an 11-month mission trip across 11 countries. (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal, India, Swaziland, Lesotho, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia ) We join local partners, serving them in their ministry. I applied and have now been accepted! I plan to leave the beginning of January. On the World Race, I will be serving with my team to partner with churches and outreach organizations in local communities to share God’s love and hope, work in orphanages and schools, and minister to children and women affected by human trafficking. My heart truly desires for the nations and tribes to know God’s healing power and to have the hope of Jesus. I am beyond grateful for this unique opportunity to see and serve God’s people all over the world. I know that I will be forever changed by this experience.
As I step out in faith, I would ask you to do the same, to consider partnering with me in this adventure through prayer and/or financial support. Your prayers and encouragement will help my spirit and remind me of the love and support from home. Your financial support will help me raise the funds needed to cover my expenses. The cost of the World Race is $20,000. This may seem like an overwhelming amount of support, but I wholeheartedly know that God will provide. Philippians 4:19~But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Ultimately, my prayer is that He would do this through you. I am looking forward to the great things God has for me on my world race. I just can’t wait to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The only thing I want in this life is to be known for serving Christ. I am so incredibly honored to be CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve, but also to you. Thank you for being a part of my life and for the way you have shaped, supported, and encouraged me. You continue to bless me over and over, for this alone I am forever grateful. I am thrilled to share my journey with you along the way. I will be posting weekly on my blog, so make sure to stay updated on all of my adventures and struggles.
