Every time I look at the date today, my heart wants to explode! It’s the most epic #worldracewednesday ever (not only because it’s Veteran’s Day!) but because it’s also WORLD RACE DAY, 11/11!
SO on this epic-ly awesome day, I am going to kick off my fundraising adventure by asking you to consider partnering with me by donating $11 dollars today! $11 for 11n11 on 11/11! I’m trying to think of a way to make this challenge fun for you guys too, so I’ll let you know what I come up with 😉
Want another kind of mind-blowing fact that has to do with 11’s?
If 111 people partnered with me for $11 per month ($1 per country!) for 11 months, the vast majority of my funds would be raised…how cool is that?! And most importantly, I would have 111 more people partnered with me in heart and prayer! *cue warm fuzzy feelings* Dawww.
Speaking of partners, this is my first fundraiser but I will be sending out letters soon with more information about partnering with me. I’ve made my ever-growing list and checked it twice, but if you want to specifically reach out and tell me to send you one, I totally would! OR if you know of someone who might be interested in this whole 11n11 deal, I would be more than happy to send a letter their way too!
Can I also take a moment and say that I’m so thankful for the people God has put in my life since joining my World Race squad? Last week, I was added to our Facebook group and then to a What’sApp (a texting app) group chat, and already I have been SO BLESSED by them! Encouragement and prayer is so freely and lovingly given, it is wonderful. One of my squadmates totally nailed it when she said, “An advertisement for the World Race should be ‘How to Make 50 Friends in 1 Day” 😀 So true. Please keep all of us in your prayers, especially today as most of us are doing an 11/11 fundraiser of some kind and this little fundraiser has such BIG potential for us all.
Meeting my squad and starting fundraising has made me so excited to see the ways God is going to be preparing, calling, and using others to bless me, and for me to bless them! I didn’t know it was possible to be more excited.
