I cannot begin to fully express my gratitude to you all but i’ll try to fit into this blog.
when applying for the race, the one thing I was hesitant about was a number as large as $16,600 that I was told needed to be raised. what 17 year old has to raise that kind of money? who qualifies them for something like that? I very quickly found fundraising to be a privilege not a task. to be able to partner with the Lord and His desires for my life.
I have learned so many things being on the race, lessons I know i’ll carry with me forever. i’ve experienced generosity and hospitality from strangers like never before. i’ve witnessed miracles on the daily. i’ve seen the Lord show up in the biggest ways possible. i’ve been able to share the gospel to an unreached people group who have never heard the name of Jesus.
and I get to do this all because of YOU! your financial support has allowed me to stay out here on the field and finish out my mission and I am eternally grateful for that. not a day goes by where I don’t feel overwhelmed by the love and support I have back home. thank you for your endless prayers and for believing in me and what the Lord is doing here. know that I could not be here if it wasn’t for your support!
