The tears are over and I've said my goodbyes. I think it went pretty well actually considering that this will be the longest I have ever been away from my family. I got here 10 this morning and met up with a friend who lives close which was such a blessing we had lunch and she showed me around DC and we took pictures at the different monuments which was fun. I've never been to DC so it was an eyefull. I got goosebumps looking at all the monuments and thinking about our great country's history and all God has done and blessed us with here. Now when it came time to go to the hotel and meet up with everyone at the hotel and start this crazy year, butterflies filled my stomach I felt inside that this year is going to be something big something new something so life changing and it's overwhelming and exciting at the same time. God is so amazing and I can't wait to share this year with you all.
