Since the beginnning there has been something powerful about the spoken word.
God spoke creation in to being and it was so.
God used Isaiah's words to foretell and speak to His people about the coming Messiah.
God used the "young" Timothy to preach the Word of God to many
God used Paul as a mouth piece to bring the gospel to the gentiles.
The diciples simply spoke and people were saved, healed, demons fled.
People are forever changed by words.
Our words hold the power of life and death.
I have had more than a few people lately, tell me that when I speak God moves and have encouraged me to get out of my head and just SPEAK, to not overthink things, to not wait for the "perfect" moment to say what I want to say. I have a hard time with this. For so long I had some people speak death and lies over me and tell me to just stop talking ,So I did. I let their words and get to me, so I stoppped talking and I really believed that I didn't have a voice, that no one wanted to hear what I had to say. Well the Lord has really changed my view of this. I now know people WANT to hear me and I have power to impact people and situations with my words when I do speak. I am in the process of putting this into practice and am slowly getting there. So… just to let you all know if the next time you see me I talk up a storm you won't be freaked out. : ) Really, I would encourage all of you… YOU yes you, to speak up. Maybe you do talk a lot already… well good, make sure people around you have a voice. Our words have POWER… lets SPEAK them out!
