Dear family and friends,
I hope you’re doing well!  I am writing to you about a calling.  A calling that has been so clear and strong in my life that it’s been impossible to ignore.
I first heard this calling while I was in India. God was teaching me so many things and showing me what He wanted to do in my life. He was calling me to ministry, and it was scary. From the time I got home from India until about 3 months ago I tried to ignore that calling. I tried ministering in other ways through a community home, a youth center called the Warehouse, at Springhill Camps in Indiana but although all of those experiences were wonderful and stretched me in many awesome ways, they just weren’t the right fit. For the past three months or so I’ve been wrestling with this calling to go on the World Race.  Trying to tell myself that it’s out of my league, that it’s too much money, that there’s not a good time to go. This went on until God started closing doors. I knew I was meant for ministry but the Lord showed me that it just wasn’t here.  That’s when I knew I had to finally, fearlessly answer the call.
In September 2013 I will be leaving on a mission’s trip with Adventures in Missions and I will visit 11 countries in 11 months. That’s right, a different country, ministry, culture, and experience every single month. I have no doubt in my mind that the Lord is calling me to this trip. That He will use me to impact so many people and ministries around the world. On this trip I may have the chance to fight AIDS/HIV in Rwanda, teach orphans in Ukraine about Jesus, or even help with an underground church in China. I will be visiting Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, China, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Romania, and the Ukraine! On this trip I will have the opportunity to be stretched and encouraged by my team, squad mates, and will be discipled by Kingdom seeking leaders and missionaries around the world!
As you might have guessed this trip does require quite a bit of funding, but I am completely confident in the Lord and His provision. This is the same God who I’ve seen heal a woman of TB, the same God who created us, surely money is no object to our God. My prayer is that God will use me to impact the world and that He might do this through you.  I must to raise $15,500 for the trip, which covers all of my expenses on the field. This financial support can be given as a one -time gift or as a monthly donation. If you choose the monthly donation you can also choose the beginning and end date and the amount you would like to give. If 25 people pledged $50 a month for 12 months then I would have 100% of the funds needed for my trip!
I have enclosed a response card, inviting you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures in Missions and return the response card with your donation to Adventures in Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta GA, 30353-4470. The response card will provide AIM with the information necessary for you to receive a receipt for your donation. If you would prefer to make your donation online you may do so at my blog site: http://brittneymoore.theworldrace.org. Just click the ‘Support Me’ link in the upper left side of the page and complete your donation as instructed.
I’m so excited to see what God has for my life and the lives of others. I hope God will bless you as you prayerfully consider supporting me. Thank you in advance for all of the prayers and financial support.
In Him, Brittney Moore
