World Racers are embarking on their first month’s ministries. I went through an orientation today of what our month will look like. I met our contact, Luis, who is incredible.  His passion for the Lord is inspiring.  We will be working with Nueva Generacion, a program he started in the local school system, we will be serving those with cerebral palsy in the hospitals, we will be loving on orphans in a nearby orphanage, we will be playing in a futbol tournament with about 70 kids towards the end of the month.  The rest of our time in between is going to be filled with shopping for food in the local market and preparing it, attending our contact’s church, ministering to each other, city prayer walks. and I am so excited!!

There is one Saturday where we will get to explore more of the country. I look forward to it very much.
If you still don’t have a clear idea about what a day in the life of a World Racer looks like, check out this quick video I made featuring my teammate Nathaniel Herndon.
Oh, and P.S.

for a break in the rainy weather. It is the rainy season here which usually looks like afternoon showers but it is raining all day, everyday. This is much more than normal according to the locals. It is creating massive flooding, mudslides and landslides. The weather man says it isn’t supposed to let up for the next two weeks.  Thanks!
