Hey everyone!
I’m a 21 year old country farm girl from central Alberta Canada. Hobbies include outdoor activities like hiking, biking and canoeing, I love reading (especially adventure and mission biographies), hanging out with my family and friends and milking the cows (even though it’s considered a chore). I love spring, summer and fall (the Canadian winters are a bit too extreme for my liking), the outdoors, my incredible family and friends, eating fruit (especially mangoes and grapes), traveling to new places (the world is waiting!!!), listening to music (Christian contemporary, classical, rock, rap and hip hop), watching dramas, adventures, and God. The last two are the reason for this writing of a blog. God has been moving in my life and calling me to put down my ambitions and goals and follow Him. His plans for my life are far better than I could have imagined for myself anyways. (Jeremiah 29:11-13) Already it has been an epic adventure, far more than I could have dreamed or planned on my own! It won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it in the end.
I am excited to start this journey and share it with you in these blogs for the next coming eleven months. Thank-you for reading and coming on this adventure with me, for standing behind me with encouragement and prayers and for letting me go and be used by Him for His glory! God has lead me to Psalm 91 as a scripture for this coming year, to hold on to His promises and His faithfulness no matter what lies ahead. I’ll leave you with the first two verses: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.””
