Have you ever been in awe of someone for the way they seem to just light up a room? Their presence just brings a warmth – a ray of sunshine into the time you spend with them.

This is my heart’s truest desire. I want to be a light for Jesus. I want people to see exuberant happiness, peace, and serenity in my life. I want them to yearn for what I have, so much so that they are able to recognize that there has gotta be something in my life that maybe they’re missing. I want them to ask, “How do I get what you have?”.

This is part of my daily prayer – that I be moulded to be an example to people. I want to be a bright and shining light for the most bright and shining light- Jesus. We have a path set out for us as stated in Psalms 119:105 – Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. We can become a light in the lives of others through being obedient to the word. Along this path we find guidance and a light to lead us through dark times.

Nobody is perfect. Rather than striving for perfection in our walks, which is unattainable, why not strive to be lights to others?  Think of it this way… A candle loses nothing by lighting another – in fact, it becomes brighter. Proverbs 20:27a  The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord

Light it up friends!
