Hey guys so just a quick update. This past month I got to travel to 5 different countries: Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, China and now we are in Mongolia.
In Thailand we got to reconnect with people who are currently running a coffee shop, burger joint and children’s home. They work mainly with refugees from Burma helping them gain education and business skills. We were only there for two days. It was great to be able to encourage some of there long term staff along with being encouraged by them.
We then went to Cambodia to help a hostel ran by some World Race alumni. They were preparing to host a conference with 200ish racers and pastors from all over Southeast Asia. Our time there was awesome! It was full of Gods peace and just a lot of great conversations. It was fun to meet so many long term missionary’s from India and Cambodia. They were super encouraging and gabe us an idea of what long term ministry can look like. We also got to meet other squads. Some were in there first 4 months of the race some in month 7, and others in month 10. It was a cool mix of people. I really got to see how the Lord uses people in different seasons (some in the valley and some on mountain tops etc) to encourage and spur one another on. Without people being in different seasons we would either be all down or all up. That would stink! So thankful God has people going through both.

We then headed to China for a few days. On the way to China we had a Layover in Malaysia and had just enough time to go visit a friend that we had made there. It was cool to be able to see Him again and just bring a smile to his face.

In China we just got to take a break and spend some quality time with each other and with God.

We are now in Mongolia and will be in the city for a few days and then will be heading to a small town near Kazakhstan. The small town has many Kazakhs even though it’s Mongolia and they hunt with eagles. The people here are the kindest I’ve met so far and treat even strangers like family.
If you would like to catch up on What’s app or Facebook that’d be awesome and I can tell ya some more stories so just hit me up!
