Ok, ok, I know what you’re thinking. “Oh no, she’s about to talk about how boys are gross and how living with them is a whole new world!” Which is all very true LOL, but I’m really here to tell y’all about the amazing Godly men I have the privilege to call my brothers in christ!
Some of y’all know that the only boy I have ever lived with is my poor father(I say poor because he is the only boy with 4 girls LOL). After living with boys here in Costa Rica, I have come to the realization that no matter the age, they will forever make poop and fart jokes! Doesn’t matter if you’re 3 or if you’re 83, it’s a boy thing.
On a more serious note, The boys I have the privilege to see everyday are absolutely amazing. I have always had the privilege of having amazing guys back home and so I was honestly really scared to see how these guys would be. God 100% took that fear away the day I met them! I have a list of just a few things they do that is so Godly and amazing!
* Serve all of us girls dinner and wait to get there food until we’re all done
* Remind us each of our true beauty in christ
* Half walk in front and the other half walk in back when we’re all walking together to protect us
* Make stupid jokes that make us laugh
* Worship with their full hearts & don’t care what others think
* Puts God above everything
* Treat us like princesses
* Remind me that there are good christian men out there that love the Lord with their whole hearts & act on it
There are many more things I’m grateful for, but those are some of the big ones. I see God working in their lives and it’s absolutely amazing! God is so good in everything he does and I am so blessed for the guys that have been put in my life that get to watch me grow as well!
Trevor, Andrew, Jessie, Cy, Tyler, Logan, Moncho, Nathan, Alex and Kevin, we each love y’all so much and are so grateful for each of you. Keep doing what you’re doing and continue to show the Lord in your actions everyday!
