Welcome to my blog! I will post updates here about my time before I leave & during my journey on the World Race. I want to share with you all how I made the decision to join the World Race.

I love to travel. I love experiencing different cultures, and seeing how other people live even if only for a brief moment in time. Over the past few years, I have been blessed to travel, and my desire to see and explore the rest of the world has grown greatly from those experiences.

While doing a Google search, I found out about the World Race. God is so awesome in the ways that He works because Adventures in Missions was the 1st search result! The name intrigued me, and I decided to follow the link to the World Race. This past summer, I recently came home from a semester abroad in Prague and when I returned home, it was difficult trying to adjust back to normalcy in California. I felt extremely disconnected and all I wanted to do was pack my bags and head off on another adventure. Due to this strong desire to be anywhere else but where I was, I began doing research on what I could do to experience this world & discover more ways to serve God after I graduated in December.

When this amazing opportunity to apply for the World Race appeared, I immediately began to pray. I knew God was calling me to be patient and content, so I put my desire to pursue the World Race on hold and prayed for God to open this door if this is where He wanted me to go. After months of being patient waiting on God’s perfect timing, the doors opened. When I got the call saying I had been accepted, I was so excited, I’m pretty sure I fist pumped. The World Race is going to be a challenging, hard, incredible, and rewarding experience. 11 months of serving people who are suffering, hurt, and in desperate need of God’s love is going to be a life changing experience.

God has opened this opportunity up for me to be the hands and feet of God, and I get to be a light for those who need His love. I cannot wait to see how God is going to work!

The 11 countries I will be serving in are Moldova, Romania, Kosovo, Albania, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, & Bolivia. I am so blessed that God is sending me out to these countries to be a light for Him.

I am going to need both prayer and financial support for this exciting new adventure God has me on. If you would like to support me financially, just click the Support Me! link to the left.
