I wanted to start off this blog by writing a letter to everyone who is supporting me. Your support means the world to me, and I wanted to express that.

Dear Supporters,

I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for supporting me financially, through prayer, by being a listening ear, encouragement, or in whatever way you supported me. I feel like the phrase “thank you” doesn’t do justice to just how thankful I am. This past year God has brought each of you into my life and He knew that there was a purpose for each and every one of you that has supported. I am blown away at the support community I have surrounding me. This past week, I had my last Sunday at church, a surprise going away party with close friends & family, and had my served at my last youth group for the year. It was a tough week for me emotionally. The prayers, encouragement, and hugs I received made my heart overflow with joy. God has blessed me with the most amazing community in my life. It was so evident over the last few days. So thank you all for helping me prepare for the World Race, honestly I would not be here if not for all of you. Also thanks for sending me off knowing I am covered in prayer & that the devil doesn’t stand a chance trying to bring me down because of who I have praying for me the next 11 months. Lastly, thanks for willing to be apart of this crazy adventure God is taking me on. I am so excited I get to share this experience with you all and I hope that you are blessed through it. I am sitting in an airport waiting for my connecting flight, reminiscing over all God has provided this past year and the people he has bought into my life. We truly serve a good, good Father. Thank you all again!

Love,

Brittany

I haven’t posted in awhile, so here’s a quick update of what’s coming up:

D Squad is flying to Atlanta today & flying to South Africa on Sunday evening. Then we will head over to Mozambique, our 1st country!! (It’s really happening) We will be working with 2 other teams for the first week doing some teaching, and our team will head out to another city to work with the elderly, terminal, orphans, prisons, and the people in that city. This is the start of an exciting year for God to do some amazing work. I am so excited to be apart of that! Please keep my team and I in your prayers!
