Hello all,
It’s been a while, almost a month since the last post. Sorry about that, it has been a very busy time of year. I was getting pretty good at posting biweekly – partially because there was a specific time in one particular class where I needed to do something else to stay awake, but as it got closer to the exam I needed to pay a bit more attention.
School is wrapping up, I will be home two weeks from today. Right now the plan is to graduate on the 15th and then head up to Maine to visit Grammie with Dad for a day or two and then head back home to ROC city to get unpacked/packed up for training camp.
Training camp starts on the 22nd, I’ll be driving down to Georgia with a girl from Clarence Center, NY leaving on either the 20th or the 21st. That should be an adventure, and then the real adventure begins July 1st. I will be home for the month of June, different things will be happening along that time, driving up to Peterborough to see Grandma and Poppy (and whoever else wants to be in the area).
I am starting to get even more excited – there are moments of anxiety, that the money won’t come in, that I’m not prepared, that I’ll get malaria – the usual haha but I just think back to an earlier posting, that God is enough…it’s something that continues to stick with me months after it happened – and I think that is a good thing.
It’s pretty muggy here in Wenham, MA but the trees are green, most of the flowers smell beautiful, and the landscaping for graduation is coming along quite nicely. Just two more days of classes after this one and I am almost home free – just a few finals and RA responsibilities to hit first. Of course I am still taking time to enjoy the Stanley Cup Playoffs as well – there needs to be a balance right!?! Ok so I have to head off to class but I figured now was as good a time as any to update the blog, add in some subscribers, check email, etc so enjoy!!
