Ok so the long awaited tale of travel day…we flew out of Dublin airport into Bucharest…everything was surprisingly smooth…oh except for the fact that I had wrapped my duct tape around my Nalgene which was then confiscated at the security checkpoint for being a restraint.  Blows my mind…luckily I still have my Nalgene, we (the security guard and I) spent 15 minutes unwrapping the duct tape from my Nalgene.  Then I sat and waited to get on the plane.  We flew pretty smoothly, only a little bit of turbulence…then we were bused to a house in Bucharest where our whole squad stayed for a couple of days.  The continuation of our travel day consisted of us getting into a van with our packs and such…taking it as far into Bucharest as we can, getting on the subway and taking it to the train station where we were going to be getting on a bus that takes us 11 hours through the night into Moldova…oh and then it’s another three hour trip to Cantemir where we are staying.

Other than a sleepless night on a bus, it was a pretty eventless evening.  We need to take the same bus back to Bucharest before we fly out to Africa (destination: South Africa for debrief).  I am excited to see how God will protect us on this next travel day coming up…peace and blessings!!
