I have fully recovered from the ten days of training in good ol’ White Georgia! It was a great time and the Lord moved in huge ways within my own heart and the hearts of my squad-mates. Towards the end of the week we did some work on team formation and found out our small teams that we will do ministry with throughout the year. We were told to go out together to make a memory and come up with a team name. One of the girls suggested the team name Jubilee and we all had very physical reactions of excitement haha!! It was perfect for our team, Joy has been a huge thing in my life and my prayer for this trip was that we would go in and out of these countries with shout of joy! Each of my teammates had confirmations that this was our divine team name, so I would like to introduce you all to *drum roll* TEAM JUBILEE!

Also I want to give everyone an update on support and things I need for the Race. I am about two weeks out and am still in need of $4,000 to be fully funded for the trip! I have most of my gear but there are a few things that I need of if you are able to help with any of this at all please let me know: fleece jacket to pack small, small day pack or shoulder bag, contacts, a small laptop for blogging. The Lord has provided in amazing ways, and I know that I will have everything I need before leaving.
