Random fun fact: We have discovered that if you rub glue on itchy mosquito bites it helps the itch, and at only 1,500 Ugandan shillings (less than a dollar) there’s really no better option! I have made it a goal to come up with as many random uses for glue on the race as possible…I will keep you updated 🙂
In other news…we have wrapped up ministry here in Uganda and we will be heading to Tanzania after the elections. We will be with the squad for a few days after leaving Lira on the 31st. Here are some of my thoughts and challenges from this last month…
As I mentioned in my previous blog we have been out preaching in the bush a lot this month. I have really enjoyed it but the drives out there have been a bit a joke and a challenge haha, but I consider it “pure joy”…right?
My tailbone is ground down to a powder at least 15 minutes into the bumps and pot holes…pure joy?
Lose the feeling in my knees…pure joy?
We are all often airborne at some point and hit our noggins…pure joy?
During these drives I generally experience butt sweat so severe I should be hospitalized…pure joy?!?!?
These drives have been the longest two hours of my life…everytime…pure joy?
