As I am coming to the end of my time in Romania I want to share some little stories and photos with y’all…

Every Sunday we would go to church and share a testimony or someone would preach.  Our last Sunday here our whole team got to go to a local church and lead worship together, it was a sweet time.  We are getting more and more comfortable with preaching or leading worship but it is definitely a place we are being somewhat stretched.  It has been SO cool to witness all of my teammates stepping out in boldness over this past month and I am excited for what is to come.

Our first week here we had the opportunity to go into two gypsy villages and do some ministry with the children there.  It was amazing to not only spend time with the kids but also getting to pray with some of their moms. We had fun singing songs and sharing Bible verses; it was a really chill atmosphere, those kids were such a blessing to me.

It was my teammate Tracy’s birthday on July 11th and some of the girls here a Casa Shalom planned a surprise party for her here at the base!  It was so fun to get to hang out with everyone and celebrate Tracy!  The people here at Casa Shalom are such a blessing, the Lord has tought me a lot about love and service through them.

I don’t even know where to begin with this one…this is Mariana.  She is one of the girls at the Jubilee house, and she captured my heart during our time there.  I taught her a few hand claps and she LOVED doing them, we would do them over and over again and she always would be so excited.  I got to learn a bit about her past and how she ended up in the home, it was hard to hear. We were able to talk some about the Lord through a translator and I pray the she has revelation after revelation of the Lords love and care for her.

This is a picture of a lot of the girls at Jubilee, as well and some of the family that has started working there.  These girls are amazing, many of them are very hurt, many are angry, some are outright sad, and others are hiding; but each and every one of them is radically loved by a God bigger than their circumstances, and I pray and this month we were able to convey even just a bit of that love to them.

So that is a snapshot of my month!!  Tomorrow morning I will be heading out for the Ukraine via another 29 hour train ride 😀  Our team is going to be working in a little village of 200 about an hour outside of Kiev.  We will be helping with a camp for kids, it should be good!  I will not have any internet access while I’m there so I will try and update my blog when we travel into Kiev one weekend.
