I’m in the middle of training camp and it has been a great time of healing, joy, boldness, and encouragement.  We never know what we are going to be doing next or where we will be going for that matter.  On Tuesday afternoon we were told to go and pack a bag, two people to one bag.  We were told to bring no tents but to gather out sleeping bags and mats along with out cloths and things for overnight.  Twenty minutes later we were all together a long with supplies and food treking half an hour through the woods followed by canoeing across the river to get the location where we were to camp for the night.  As some of my squad mates figured out shelter with tarps and rope, or a fire for dinner I headed out with five others armed with a shovel to dig us a cute little hole to relieve ourselves.  The rest of the night was full of good conversation, games around the camp fire, and a random midnight canoe trip onto the misty lake 🙂  This squad shines brighter than stars and I can only imagine what the Lord has in store.
