Well friends it’s that time, time to talk about CAMBODIA! I have been sifting through a lot of informative e-mail that AIM has been sending me about our contact for this trip to Cambodia and I am so excited to share with you. We will be living in a town called Kampong Chhnang working with a ministry called Transform Asia. First a little about Kampong Chhnang:

Kampong Chhnang means “Port of Pottery, they are known for their clay pottery and there is a lake nearby. The population is 471,616 so it’s one of the larger provinces in the country. Kampong Chhnang is in the heart of Cambodia and has really rich soil and endless rice patty fields, I’m pumped for this, sunsets behind rice patty field are my favorite :) . It’s also only about 2 hours drive aways from the capital, Phno Phen, so it will be cool to get to experience some of the history of the whole country.

Now a bit about Transform Asia, they do a lot of different work in Cambodia; from fighting human trafficking to sponsoring street children to pastor training to medical missions, they are reaching out in a lot of areas. The area that we will be focusing on is anti-trafficking, we will be working with women who have come out of a lifestyle of prostitution or abused homes. We will teach English classes and do Bible studies in Transform Asia’s “New Development Center. Please check out their website and find out more about all the Transform Asia is doing. www.transformasia.us

I am so so so excited to be a part of this trip, I will be leading a team of 7 young women and consider it such an honor to do so. Please join me in praying for unity in our team as training camp is coming up next week. Pray that we would pour out God’s BOLD love over these women that we will be getting to know. I know that this summer will be life changing, game on.

I am still in need of $717 to be fully funded for this trip, if you are interested in supporting me financially you can follow the “Support Me link to the left. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support!
