Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this blog finds you well. As most of you know, during the past two years I have been working while trying to decide which professional program and career I want to pursue. During my undergraduate career at the University of Southern Mississippi, I fell in love with the profession of physical therapy. In August I started the application process for physical therapy school with high hopes, excited to finally “start” my life. However, for some reason during this process I was very hesitant to submit my application, feeling as though I was supposed to do something else. After exploring my heart and realizing that God was changing my desires, I decided to apply for The World Race.
The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip that gives young individuals the opportunity to show the love of God while traveling all over the world. Adventures in Missions (AIM), an interdenominational program, designed The World Race to not only be a mission trip but a discipleship program that will launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling.
After having some time to process this life changing opportunity, I am finally ready to share with everyone that I have been accepted to join The World Race. In September 2014, I will start my adventure by traveling with a squad of 60 people to Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Japan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Swaziland, Zimbabwe/Botswana, and South Africa.
While on The World Race, my team and I will partner with churches and local communities to serve “the least of these.” In some of the countries, we will have the opportunity to build churches, work in orphanages, minister to the women and children enslaved by human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
Like most other mission trips, I am required to raise financial support. In order to leave in September fully funded, I need to raise $16,254. This amount will cover the cost of all field expenses (my food, travel, lodging, insurance, etc.) for the 11 months of the trip. Raising financial support will be only one of the many challenges that I face throughout the next few months. Taking a leap of faith like this is something I never would have planned for myself. I know this a large amount; however, I am reminded in Philippians that God will provide.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
I am writing in hopes that you will feel led to partner with me in this ministry. If 50 people will commit to supporting me at $30 a month for 11 months, I will be fully funded. Will you be 1 of 50 that serves alongside me in this journey?
If you would like to make an online donation of any amount, please visit my blog site at: http://brittanyneal.theworldrace.org/ and select the “Support Me” tab along the left side. Also, I would like to encourage you to subscribe to my blog so that you can receive updates before and during my journey. This would be a great way for you to stay connected and see the work that was made possible through your financial support.
If you would prefer to send a check, please make it payable to Adventures in Missions with my name in the memo line. This will ensure that your donation is added towards my goal.

This is truly a once in a lifetime experience, and I feel extremely blessed to have this opportunity. While knowing this trip will challenge me in all aspects, I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me and the lives of others. I would like to thank you in advance for your prayers and/or financial support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Brittany L. Neal
