In all of the hustle and bustle and crazy chaos in the world today, we sometimes miss the simple but beautiful things around us.
I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for this restraunt to open. I had the music on. I was texting. Some people were driving around and some were walking. I just so happened to glance down in this little grassy area, and there was the most beautiful little yellow butterfly just sitting in the grass, every now and then flapping his wings. Who knows how long he had been sitting there. And then it hit me… How many beautiful amazing things do we miss all the time?
Take the time to just stop even if for a few seconds and just look around. Put the phone down for a couple seconds. Stop talking, and just listen. You might be amazed at what you see and hear when you aren't distracted.
