Do you know how many times I have “heard” something at night, may it be a mouse or some other pest? Me neither, but it is a larger number than I would like it to be. I am convinced right now at this mouse by my head. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!! Might I note, it is 1 am and I am jumping out of bed, my teammates loved that one. Let the half awake in the dark commotion begin!
“What’s wrong?!”
“Are you ok?”
“What’s happening?!”
“Turn on the light!”
And the search is on but slightly impossible. You see there Are 7 girls living in 1 room. Girls have a lot of stuff. A LOT! Especially in Nepal where you can find great deals. Back to the story. Looking at our piles of stuff we find …nothing. Nothing after that commotion. I’m not convinced, I’ll opt for the sitting area for now at least until I get to tired to care.
10 min later I hear my name. Kristy told me “We figured out what the noises is, Jessie is rubbing her foot against a bag.”
I agree to go back to the room. They demonstrate the rustling noise. I’m still not convinced, but I agree to go back to bed. I turn on my music hoping to not hear any more noise and quickly fell asleep.
This is a very anticlimactic end to the dramatic story but I hope it gave you a little chuckle. I’m still convinced that there was a mouse.
