Rwanda, the land of 1000 hills. But seriously there are a lot of hills and they are steep. Rwanda is a beautiful country, it’s rolling hills help with its beauty but that is not the only thing that makes it beautiful, Rwanda’s people make it beautiful. They are he most welcoming people in have ever met in my life. Everyone treats you like family even the stranger you just met. Now if I was in America this would not have gone down. Our contact for the month has introduced us to his cousin one morning and I just shook his hand and went back to doing whatever I was doing. I didn’t think too much about it because I meet at least one new person each day. Anyway, later that day I needed to find a restaurant and I had to ride the bus to get there and we missed the bus/it was full. This meant we had to wait for the next one and who know how long that would take. Another bus went by but it was full too. So we said a prayer that there would be a bus with room for us and we would know where we were going. A few minutes later a truck pulls up and the guy tells us to get in, it was our contacts cousin. He also gave two other men a ride. Rebekah asked the cousin if he knew where the restaurant was I’m not sure if he did or not but one of the other men, Patrick, did. The cousin dropped us off at another bus stop and we went with Patrick. He paid for the bus we needed to take and walked us to the front door. Isn’t God super awesome. He answered our silly little prayer. He gave us more than what we asked for, a truck and a guide.
