"How much do you make for a day's work in America?"  That is the question Raul, our contact from Romania, posed to us after we spent the entire day walking in the heat through the villages passing out invitations to church.  In answer to his own question, he stated, "You might make $100 a day.  But if we save just one soul today, it is worth far more."

This month, I was able to see that statement come to life.

This is Nicoleta.

She is fourteen years old.

Nicoleta has lived in and out of various orphanages during her lifetime.

She came to live at the Sinai 30 shelter about six weeks ago.

Nicoleta loves to have her hair braided and her nails painted.

She also loves to play football (soccer) with the boys.

Nicoleta loves when we visit her each night.

Nicoleta has a beautiful smile on the rare occasion that she does smile.

But Nicoleta doesn't know the One who can bring her joy…

that is until November 4th when she gave her life to Christ.

Right after Nicoleta prayed to accept Jesus in her heart

On that Friday, Nicoleta's life was changed.  She met the One who loves her unconditionally.  The One who will bring her joy.  And I was blessed enough to be a part of her story.

If I was sent to Moldova for no other reason than to pray with Nicoleta to give her life to Christ, then the entire month was worth it.  In fact, if I was sent on the World Race for only her, the entire 11 months are more than worth a day's wages.
